SMA Railway Technology GmbH delivers the auxiliary power converters to Scomi Rail Berhad that will manufacture the new Monorail vehicles in Kuala Lumpur. The 60 auxiliary power converters to be delivered are part of the SMA MEE-NTSD platform that is already used in a similar way in the RegioCitadis LRVs in Kassel (Germany) and in Den Haag (Netherlands). The deliveries will start in early summer 2009 and will be finished in 2010.
