The Spanish rolling stock manufacturer CAF ordered 60 auxiliary power converters from SMA for the equipment of the new trains of the Metro Istanbul in Turkey. These auxiliary power converters are based on the proven solution used in Metro São Paulo. Deliveries will start in July 2010.
