Alstom Transport ordered the auxiliary power supply for 49 type Coradia Lirex EMUs from SMA. The EMUs will be used in the Skane region in the southern parts of Sweden. SMA will supply 98 low weight MEE-NTSD static inverter with active redundancy. The systems are based on the proven systems already in daily revenue service in Stockholm. First deliveries are scheduled for spring 2008.
