Following the successful delivery of MEE-NTSD Static Converter for the ICM 1/2 InterCity fleet of the Dutch Railways, SMA Railway Technology GmbH has been selected to provide the Static Converters for the ICM 3/4 as well. The ICM 3/4 is a four-car EMU that will receive a new redundant auxiliary power supply using two independent MEE-NTSD Static Converter per trainset. Deliveries will start in June 2009 and last until the end of 2011. The complete overhaul of the vehicle will be done by NedTrain in Haarlem (Netherlands).
