The battery chargers for the new metro trains for Shanghai Line 7 and the extension of Shenzhen Line 1 will be supplied by SMA. The systems are based on the already proven chargers that are in daily revenue service in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The battery chargers will be manufactured locally by Changzhou SMA Electronics Co., Ltd. and will be integrated into the new Movia metros by Bombardier.
