Andreas Berger

Andreas Berger (*1971) studied electrical engineering in Schmalkalden and Ilmenau (Germany). After graduation he started as Development Engineer at SMA in 1999. In 2002, Andreas Berger became head of Railway Engineering of the Railway Technology Division. Since 2008 Andreas Berger has been General Manager of the newly founded SMA Railway Technology GmbH. He is responsible for the Technology Division.

Alexander Schmidt

Alexander Schmidt (*1965) graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the field of energy and production processes in Hanover. Before becoming Vice President of SMA Railway Technology GmbH, he held various management positions at Robert Bosch GmbH in Hildesheim. Alexander Schmidt has been member of the Management Board and responsible for the Operations Division since April 2012.

Carmen Maria Parrino

Carmen Maria Parrino (*1975) studied business administration at the Frankfurt Academy of Business Administration (VWA). After graduation in 2000, she held a position as Executive Director at vwd Vereinigte Wirtschaftsdienste AG in Frankfurt. In October 2011, she started working as Director Controlling & Accounts Receivables at SMA Solar Technology AG. Since September 2012 she has been General Manager of SMA Railway Technology GmbH and is responsible for the Business Management Division.

Dirk Wimmer

Dirk Wimmer (*1971) graduated in electrical engineering in Zwickau (Germany) and started his career as Design Engineer at the Railway Technology Division of SMA in 1996. After one year working at the Chinese joint venture of SMA, he became Director of the Sales Department of the Railway Technology Division. Since 2008 Dirk Wimmer has been General Manager of the newly founded SMA Railway Technology GmbH. He is responsible for the Sales Division.
